When an I-pod is removed from its source of power it has no purpose. It may have a beautiful outer-design, but it will be meaningless – like a body without a soul. There will be emptiness in the I-pods "brain".

The battery is its source of power, it's source of life. When the I-pod is connected to its source of life, it becomes useful and serves a purpose which is to play music.

The I-pod pleases its creator when it plays music, but if broken, it needs to spend some time with its master-designer - who fashioned it together with great care and special attention, each specification perfectly in synchronization to accomplish the master-designers' purpose.

The master-designer will know exactly what to do. He'll be able to identify the cause of the problem. He will be able to bring healing and restoration in the I-pod's body, mind and soul.

An I-pod, apart from its source of power is meaningless. The I-pod finds its identity and true value through its source of power.

John 15:5
Jesus says: “I am the Vine you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit. Apart from Me you can do nothing”

We could in some way be compared to I-pods. If we aren't connected to our source of Power, which is the LORD, we are helpless and cannot serve our purpose. And, if we don't stay close to God, and in relationship with Him, ( thereby recharging ourselves) – we become powerless in God.

But, when we are infused and charged with His Holy-Spirit Power, we can live up to our purpose, and that is to take the beautiful hit song “JESUS SAVES” to as many friends & enemies as possible. And who knows, it may just bring peace and joy in someone else's life – and perhaps save them from “this world'…
