We all have the desire and need to be loved. We were created by God, to have Love anchored within us.

"Love" is a Person.

If you accept Jesus into your life, His indwelling in your Spirit is filled with love. This is a God given Spirit filled love, which is true and pure and everlasting. In this love, we find the true meaning and experience of love.

1 John 4:8

Jesus says in John 17:3 (NLT) "And this is the way to have eternal life, to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth"

But how? (Acceptance is the condition for ownership)

The only way is to invite the One who IS love INTO your life. Once you have given your heart to Christ, the Holy Spirit enters your heart and life, and dwells within you. True and real love then dwells within you as the Holy Spirit has filled you.

1 John 4:19

"We, though, are going to love, love and be loved. First we were loved, now we love. He loved us first"

How much does Jesus loves me?

Psalm 27:10

"When my father and my mother forsake me, Then the LORD will take care of me"

Isaiah 49:15,16 (MSG)

"Can a mother forget the infant at her breast, walk away from the baby she bore? But even if mothers forget, I'd never forget you--never. Look, I've written your names on the backs of my hands..."

God's love

John 3:16 (NLT)

"For God so loved the world (me and you), that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life"

We all need the reassurance that all will be fine and well in our lives. It brings an inner peace, and a sense of security. The good news is that if you are a believer, your peace comes from God, and it steadfast and solid.

Romans 8:31 says: "If God is for us who can be against us?" Wow!!! Not only does this bring a Godly peace within, it also affirms that sense of security.

In God's Grace, we find the ability to get through a certain situation or problem with Godly ease. In God's Grace we find Godly Peace. A great definition for GRACE is: God's Riches At Christ's Expense.

Jesus says in John 10:10 "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness." The meaning of fullness is, to have abundance. This will extend an overflow of God's Grace and Love that you may be eminently blessed and happy.

Romans 8:28

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God..." (this brings the peace that is unknown to non believers)

Remember, do what you can do (pray and obey), and leave the rest for God (Do your best, and leave the rest - Joyce Meyer).

People without LOVE IN them (the Dwelling of the Holy Spirit), can't have real peace in themselves... With rebirth, the Indwelling of the Holy Spirit brings Love and Peace. (see love)

2 Thessalonians 3:16 (NLT)

"May the Lord of Peace himself always give you his peace no matter what happens"

When we are born again, we experience a relief to be "pardoned" by Christ for our sins, and this brings a new feeling of happiness and joy. This is an everlasting joy, that supercedes the joy of the world.

The joy of the world is momentarily, and fades hastily once the moment has passed.

REAL JOY, is from within, and there is a rejoicing as we have been granted the gift of everlasting life.(Luke 10:20). The reason why Satan wants to steal and destroy your joy and happiness is because he is after your strength The Word says:

Nehemiah 8:10

"Do not sorrow, for the JOY of the LORD is your strength."

Satan's strategy is to launch an attack when you are weary and weak, and he will focus on your weaknesses. We identify his strategy when Satan tempted Jesus after He fasted for 40 days in the desert. Satan was well aware that the flesh would be weary and waited till he was certain that there was a weakness that he might use. This incident should bring an awareness that if Satan was this brave to tempt Jesus when he thought that Jesus would be weak, that he would certainly follow the same strategy with us. (Luke4:2-3)

Therefore we need to be aware and alert and acknowledge the warning spoken by Jesus in

John 10:10

"The thief (Satan) does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy"

It is important to put God first. Psalm 37:4 says: "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart"

It's easy to delight yourself in the LORD, but I agree with Joyce Meyer "we need to commit, putting God first in everything we do. Then we will enjoy and be full of joy!"

The Lord is my faithful Shepherd, I shall not be in want... No matter what doubt or fear you may be facing - remember that God is Jehovah Jire - The LORD GOD our Provider. He sustains us, He is Jehovah Shalom - The God who IS Peace and who gives Peace. So know that if you call upon the LORD, He will rescue you - no matter how deep the "pit".

When you draw close to God, He will draw closer to you (James 4:7)

It may seem at first as if there are no changes or no results, but keep on trusting, relying, believing and holding on to God's Word, and His promises - and know that God IS actively working on your behalf - behind the scenes. Choose faith over fear - and watch God work!

Know that you are not alone!

Isaiah 41:10 NLT

"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

You need to take action...

1Peter 5:7 (NLT)

"Give (cast) all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you"

Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall (Psalms 55:22 NLT).

But, when you do...

Jeremiah 17:7 NLT

"But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing delicious fruit"

Psalm 37:24

"Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the LORD holds them by the hand."

Isaiah 51:12

"I, I'm the One comforting you. What are you afraid of--or who? Some man or woman who'll soon be dead? Some poor wretch destined for dust?"

GOD's love, though, is ever and always, eternally present to all who fear him. " We should fear (respect) God so much, that we fear no man!" - Nevil Norden.

Psalm 32:10

"Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD."

God WILL NOT FAIL YOU, He wants to give you a future filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11). God is the I am, and is there, waiting to show grace and mercy over your life. In His time, the Power of God will breakthrough in a visible manner, if you wait upon the Lord. God will complete His work in your life if you are faithfull to Him.

Isaiah 30:18,19 (MSG)

"Oh yes, people of Zion, citizens of Jerusalem, your time of tears is over. Cry for help and you'll find it's grace and more grace. The moment he hears, he'll answer."

If you need a fresh start, fellowship with Jesus. As Joyce Meyer so clearly states, do not fellowship with your problems, instead fellowship with Jesus. Therefore hold onto His promises for you.

Isaiah 43:18

"Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history."

Look at His promise...

Isaiah 43:19 MSG
"Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands"

Remember, God's provision is greater than your fears... SO BELIEVE!

God has a good plan for you.

"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope"

God has a Good Plan for your life, filled with hope and in His Perfect Will for you, He has a future filled with promises and victory. It is a future filled with abundance, joy and happiness.

Faith pleases God.

If you believe in the Good News of Christ you are called a believer.

Matthew 17:20

Jesus told them. "I assure you, even if you had faith as small as a mustard seed you could say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it would move. Nothing would be impossible."

What "mountains" do you have in your life? Believe in the One who will rescue you. Faith activates the New Plan in your life and brings victory over those obstacles in your life.

Matthew 21:22

Jesus also said: "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer." (nothing is impossible for him who believes)

It is essential to understand how faith is planted and developed in your Spritual growth.

Romans 10:17 (NLT)

"Yet faith comes from listening to this message of good news-the Good News about Christ" (Just do it, and see what happens!)

When God is involved in anything, it brings Godly favour. When He is removed from something, it turns into a mess. Without God, our finances becomes messy, without God, our relationships turn into a mess. Involve God in your life, and know that His favour will rest over you.

Stop trying, and start believing God for His plan in your life... 4 it's Good!

The meaning of "RIGHTEOUSNESS" is that you have been made right with God through the Blood of Christ. You have right-standing with God the Father. I'm not saying you are righteous. I'm saying: "You ARE the RIGHTEOUSNESS of GOD, IN JESUS CHRIST" (Romans 4:23,24)

When you are a reborn Christian, and you have righteousness in Christ, you no longer need to dwell on your short comings of the past. The Holy Spirit will guide you and teach you to grow in Spirit, as certain changes are made in your life, habits, relationships etc.
(also see "I" the i-pod)

What should I do? Quit your "stinking thinking" - think before you act! Stay in fellowship with Jesus, and do not meditate on the past or negative input.

Remember: Thoughts turn into actions. If we want to change, we need to change our mind and our attitude.

Romans 12:2 (MSG)
"Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you."

By now we know the strategy of the enemy and in time of weakness he may approach you with thoughts of condemnation and guilt because of your past.

Do not ponder on these lies, take a firm standing in Jesus and confirm by speaking out "No Satan, you are a liar since the beginning! God loves me!!! I may have sinned, but I am the righteous-ness of God in Jesus Christ. Christ is the Kings of Kings, and I'm a prince/princess in His Kingdom. I have a future and a hope! - go away in Jesus' Name!"

(As a child of God -you are Royalty, and can say this with authority)

Hold onto God's promise about your past and your future for He says:

Isaiah 43:18,19

"Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old (Your history). Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert"

As we all have a need to belong, and to "fit in", have the assurity that you fit into God Perfect Plan, completely and absolutely. You have a future, and a journey in Christ, and your worthiness is anchored in Christ, not in your past.

2 Corinthians 5:21
"For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ"

2 Corinthians 5:17
"The meaning thereof is that those who are reborn, have become new persons. The old life is gone and a new life has begun!"

If you have made Jesus - King of your life, you are royalty - you are a prince or princess of the Most High God.You have been made right with God. You don't have to "feel wrong" anymore about yourself - Wow! This is great.

1 John 1:12
"But to all who believed him and accepted him(Jesus), he gave the right to become children of God"

This is where you fit in! (but the choice is yours)
You do fit in.You have a destiny!

Even though the enemy tries to discourage you, we want to encourage you and remind you that God loves you very much; and He does have a good plan for your life.

Romans 8:35-37 teaches us that we should not allow any kind of affliction or tribulation to ever separate us from the love of Christ Jesus. It says that there may be times in our lives when we look like sheep being led to the slaughter, (verse 37) "YET AMID ALL THESE THINGS WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS AND GAIN A SURPASSING VICTORY THROUGH HIM WHO LOVES US."

The mind is the battlefield, and you should be aware that Satan will fill your mind full of negative thoughts. He wants you to give up, but the Lord wants you to press on in your relationship with Him. Even though you are going through a difficult time, I believe you are growing spiritually; and I know that God has His eye on you every moment and that He has not forgotten about you. He is your Deliverer, your Redeemer, the One who walks alongside of you and dwells in you. Keep your thoughts and your conversation more on Jesus and the help you are expecting from Him rather than on the problem.

The Apostle Paul stated in II Corinthians 4 that, even though he was experiencing severe trials on every side, He was not cast down or driven to a point of despair because he was looking at the unseen more than the seen. In other words, he kept his mind on the Lord, not the problem.

1 Peter 5:7
"Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully."

Rev 12:11

"And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony" Amen!

TeenBeliever - choose JESUS!

Do you know who you are? - you have reason to be positive...

If there is one person you need to get along with, it's yourself. You are going to be stuck with yourself for a very long time!So start to love and accept yourself for who and what you are.

Jesus says, come to me just as you are.He doesn't say go and "fix" yourself first. Jesus died on a cross for sinners like us, not for perfect people. And if God accepts you for who you and are, then you should too. Don't focus on your weaknesses, faults, shortcomings or failures - rather focus on who you are in Christ

(You can say aloud - I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ, I am a prince or princess in His Kingdom, I am royalty... child of the Most High God, child of the King of kings!)

Remember God judges differently. He looks at the heart. Your self-value or self-worth is not based on who you are, or what you have accomplished in the flesh, (your titles, degrees, position etc) no! - your self-worth is based on what Jesus did for you on the cross. You true identity is who you are in Christ. You are royalty, you have authority - Kingdom power is backing you in the Name of Jesus Christ!

2 Philippians 9:10,11

"so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord"

Romans 8:31 (MSG)
"So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?"

So, decide to change the way you think. Change your mind, change your attitude.

  • Do you want victory? "then change the way you think!"
  • Do you want victory? "then learn to talk right"

Remember, you have only "one life-performance on the stage of life"- choose to be an amazing person! - the choice is yours.
