When and how do you pray?
It is good to give thanks to the Lord, sing praises to the Most High. Psalm 92:1-4 (NLT)
"It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, accompanied by the harp and lute and the harmony of the lyre. You thrill me, Lord, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done." When we pray we need to honor, praise, and glorify the Lord's wonderful Name. It's not always just about asking for help or blessings.
Sometimes God just wants us to enter into His presence and say “I love you Dad, You are a wonderful Dad” He is your Father, you can do that. This builds an intimate relationship.
I've learnt from Yonggi Cho to be very specific during prayer. I believe the power of prayer. My wife and I are very privileged to experience the power of prayer in our lives. Many times we just stand in awe… my desire is that you'll experience God's power, through PRAYER in your life as well. God wants to know your heart's desire, speak to Him! Philippians 4:6 says: “Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions (requests) and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.” MSG |
