Technology ,… that is what our time is all about. It is the era of the media, the television, radio, Internet, movies and most definitely, the MOBILE PHONE . These "tools" are powerful, available, handy and effective.

Almost anyone could be reached via a mobile phone

The possibility of reaching unborn Christians via the MOBILE, justifies this latest mobile media-technology as an essential part of evangelism in the twenty-first century.

More than 2,5 billion people own a mobile phone. This enables us  to reach anyone, anywhere, everyday!

Jesus said: "Go into the world . Go everywhere and announce the Message of God's good news to one and all. Mark 16:15 MSG

We should pose the question: W.W.J.D. (What would Jesus do?)

When Jesus ministered and spoke to the people, He visited the temple square, the market place and places where people gathered. He moved amongst the people to teach the Word of God.

So where do people gather or meet in these times? How do we communicate in the here and now? The "market place of the twenty-first century" would be the Internet and the  MOBILE .

• Is the MOBILE really such an awesome tool?

YES! The Mobile has become a new lifestyle, a "must have", and it is cost effective and hands on, almost 24/7. It is available to the young and old. And the Good News target-market includes every-one . It does not discriminate.

Not only does the Mobile keep you in touch with the world, you could also have the Good News, (The Word of God) on your mobile. In an instant, the  mobile phone becomes an important evangelism tool .
 
So how do we spread the Word of God... we "Mobi "the  Word of God .

We are leaders in Christ. And leadership is influence (John Maxwell) We need to give people direction, and influence people with hope, with the Good News.

We need to utilize the latest mobile technology, to reach the largest potential audience possible, in the "market place of the 21 st Century." The MOBILE is here to stay, and has become the most effective communication device today. Its ability and possibilities are growing by the day.
