Where do I go from here?

You are now a new-reborn in Christ. As a new- reborn in Christ, you will have a hunger for spiritual food, fellowship and nurtiring which will enable you to grow in your Christianity and walk with Jesus. In some way, it could be compared to a new born baby, who is dependend on its mother for all the needs and feeding and care. As a new-reborn Christian, you are dependend on the Holy Spirit to "fill you" and you need to find that spiritual caring to keep you close to God

1 Peter 2:2-3 [MSG]
"Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God's pure kindness. Then you'll grow up mature and whole in God. You've had a taste of God."

Therefore it's important to join God's family, a church or congregation in your area, where people worship the Trinity. [The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit]

The Holy Spirit is your guide in everything you do, ask Him to guide you to find a place of worship that would be in the perfect will of God for you at that time in your life. It will be confirmed with peace from God, and therefore seek His advice before joining. Do not join because of emotional or sentimental reasons, ask God to speak a Godly desire into your heart.

You can pray the following prayer:

“Abba Father I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ, please help me through the Holy Spirit to find a family/church where I may worship You. Show me where You want me to go.Abba Father,you know my heart, and you know what I need. Holy Spirit ,give me peace in my heart once I found the place where you want me to be. Thank you for loving me, and helping me in my spiritual growth as a child of God. In Jesus Name - Amen”

Psalm 68:6
“God makes homes for the homeless, leads prisoners to freedom…”

Within a structure of a good organized church, there will also be “care or cell-groups”, also called a “small group” who have weekly gatherings.

The purpose of these groups are to help new “babes” in Christ and also to restore and help other Christians in the Name of Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

These groups will also teach you about the Lord's Supper, the Water baptism, baptism in the Holy Spirit, Spiritual Gifts etc.
