Where do I go from here?

How do I grow?

How do I connect with God?

  1. How do I connect with God?
    Through the Holy Spirit
  2. How do I receive the Indwelling Holy Spirit?
Through accepting Jesus Christ as your Saviour, Lord and King
  3. How do I accept Jesus Christ as my saviour?
By Confessing Jesus Christ as your Saviour in a spoken word, declaring it with your mouth.

The Holy Spirit enables us to connect with God.
Prayer enables us to communicate with God, to share your dreams, concerns and love. It allows you to share your heart and emotions with God.

You are now reborn in Christ. You have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in your heart. You have surrendered to Christ and given Him control of your life. He is your Saviour Lord and King.

It is important to have and remain in relationship with God. This is done by constant prayer, studying and reading of the Bible, and personal praise and worship.

God is interested in having a relationship with you.

To build a relationship with anyone, you need to invest time and fellowship with a person. There is a need to have “some kind of connection”

The same applies to your relationship with God. Relationship with God is created through daily prayer, which is your direct line of connection and communication with God. To intensify the relationship, increase your quality time with God.

Prayer is a process of communication between God and yourself.

Prayer is the verbal expression of your heart and emotions. You express your love for God during prayer. We need to express our love with the spoken word.

The Bible tells us:

Philippians 4:6
"Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."

Philippians 4:7 (KVJ)
"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus."

With whom do I have a relationship?
As a child of the Living God, you have relationship with the Godhead .

  • God the Father.
[When you pray you can call Him “Abba Father” or Papa, Dad.]

    Romans 8:15
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It's adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike "What's next, Papa?"

    Galatians 4:6 (MSG)
You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as His own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, "Papa! Father!"

  • God the Son.
[Jesus Christ, your Lord, Saviour and Master]

    2 Corinthians 5:21
"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

When we pray to God we pray in the Name of Jesus Christ. Jesus is your Master, your owner, and you belong to Him. He paid for you with His precious Blood on the cross.

  • God the Holy Spirit.
[The indwelling Holy Spirit in your heart –Immanuel]

    John 16:13
"But when the Friend comes, the Spirit of the Truth, he will take you by the hand and guide you into all the truth there is. He won't draw attention to himself, but will make sense out of what is about to happen and, indeed, out of all that I have done and said."

    The Holy Spirit
is the third person of the Godhead/Trinity. You may ask the Holy Spirit to help and guide you, and to reveal the Word of God to you. (His Name is also Immanuel, meaning God with us. Note His dwelling-place is your heart!)

“I am connected now!”
